Q: how much will an 2011 ford mustang coupe be per month?
I am 20 year old male, with an 2008 Ford mustang. I am going to trade it in, and i was wondering if anyone knew how much money it would be per month plus insurance. The 08 model we have, we are roughly paying 700 per month.
A: You can build your own at www.fordvehicles.com and price out exactly what you want, that way nobody quotes you on a manual V6 coupe when you’re going to get a GT500 convertible… big difference in price. That website will strictly tell you how much payments will be. You need to talk to your insurance agent to find out what those costs will be.
Q: How fast is the new 2011 Ford Mustang V6?
I want something fast and affordable and these seem to be it.
I’ve never heard of how fast they can go though.
And would it be enough to beat a 2002 Mustang Convertible?
Easy 10 points.
A: How does 0 – 60 in 5.1 seconds or 13.7 @ 102 in the standing quarter sound? It’s only a hair slower than a 2010 GT. It also whacks a V6 Challenger or V6 Camaro, and rather badly I might add.
The old 210 HP 4.0 “Cologne” V6 was a 40-year-old cast iron relic and of little more use than as a boat anchor. The new V6 is an all aluminum DOHC 4-valve VVT tour-de-force. 305 HP @ 6,500 RPM and 280 lb ft of torque at 4,400 RPM. 10.5 compression ratio, 29 to 31 highway MPG and runs on regular gas!
Bonus: Ford mated the exact same 6-speed manual or automatic that are used on the 411 HP 5.0 GT to the “entry level” V6. In other words, you’ll have to try REALLY hard to break the drive train!
Q: where is the fuel pump cutoff switch(inertia switch) physically located on 2011 Ford Mustang?
It’s not on the drivers side where it was on older mustangs. I believe it automatically resets itself. Just wondering where it was located.
A: Fuel Pump (FP) Shut-off Feature
In the event of a moderate to severe collision, the vehicle is equipped with a Fuel Pump (FP) shut-off feature that is initiated by the event notification signal.
The event notification signal is a signal provided by the Restraints Control Module (RCM) to the Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM). The FPCM will then shut-off power to the FP module. The RCM will also send a fuel shut-off signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The PCM will then send a signal to the FPCM to shut-off the FP module.
Should the vehicle shut-off after a collision due to this feature, the vehicle may be restarted by first turning the ignition switch to the OFF position and then turn the ignition switch to the ON position. In some instances the vehicle may not start the first time and may take one additional key cycle.
This is straight from the Ford manual, is has no physical fuel pump inertia switch, just module programs and the vehicle network wiring.
Q: How much is a 2011 Ford Mustang GT?
I can’t find the price on any of the websites, I want a Mustang but is it like too expensive to buy? I’m 14 but that’s my dream car! It was a Hummer at first and then my mom is like DREAM ON it’s wayyyy to expensive, lol.
A: tThe GT, the coupe starts at $30,495 and the convertible runs from $35,495. Adding the Premium trim to any of these adds a premium of about $3,000.
Q: How much would the Ford Mustang 2011 cost in 3 years?
how much would the shelby cost in about 3 years or so? also a price for the gt premium.
thanks
A: how much does a 2007 mustang cost now?
Q: About this 2011 Ford Mustang V6..?
I’m looking for reviews, thoughts and comments from folks who own the 2011 Ford Mustang V6.
I test drive one today and really liked it. The 5.0 is really outside of my price range right now so I’m considering it.
Thank you for your time!!
A: I own one and love it. Get the Performance Package and the Premium trim. It will run 14.2 1/4 mile stock. I have been impressed with the speed and handling right out of the box. I mean its as every bit as good as the older GT’s.
With a tune and cold air intake and exhaust it will run 13.2 in the 1/4. I also own a miata and Mitsubishi VR4. Other fine sports cars. The VR4 is faster for now but I am going to add a supercharger to the Mustang. Then it might be faster than the VR4. Certainly faster than the Mustang GT and still costs less.
You can read and see a lot of great photo and video details on the new 3.7L V6 Mustang here. http://v6mustangperformance.com
Q: 2011 Ford Mustang. V6 or V8?
Ok, I turned 16 a couple months ago. And I saved enough for a Ford Mustang V6 straight up from working for 2 2/3 years.. But what does the V8 offer better than the V6? Would the Pony Package be a better deal than the V6? Its a couple more grand but thats ok. Any help. No sassy comment because I do in fact have the money.
Thanks
A: The new Mustang standard with v6 is the best ever and the first car to ever offer 300 HP and 31 mpg! That’s almost the same HP as last years v8..and more than previous years..
Q: How do you get the GPS in the ford Mustang?
I have seen all sorts of 2011 Ford Mustangs V6 and V8 with the GPS in the center consul, and I have seen a bunch without them, how do you get it and how much does it cost?
A: You have to buy the Premium Mustang in either the V6 or GT versions. You then get the Rapid Spec packages that come standard with the Navigation system and Sirius radio/Sirius Travel Link. It doesn’t look like it’s available in the base V6 or GT models. The Ford website touts the Sirius radio over the Navigation system but they seem to go hand in hand to get that screen. You get a free 6 month subscription to Sirius but after that you are responsible for paying for the service and it automatically renews unless you cancel.
The SYNC system also says it gives you traffic, directions and info but from what I can see it doesn’t automatically give you that screen-you have to buy the nav system/Sirius which comes in the Premium Mustangs only. The SYNC uses the factory radio to give you directions and whatnot. There’s 3 years free service for the SYNC.
It looks like the built in nav/Sirius screen is basically a promotion to get you to buy a Sirius subscription after the 6 month freebie period.
Q: should i get a 2011 ford mustang 5.0 for my first car?
i no how to stick shift and all but is there any other car besides a mustang thats really sporty
u no what chevy stands for piece of shit
A: Buy a used one first. Just saying you know how to shift a manual means nothing. It also shows you do not know what 400 plus HP is like to drive. You can get in real trouble real fast. Insurance would be shocking for a young kid.
Q: Is the 2011 Ford Mustang the quintessential sports, and luxurious car for the price?
Hi!
At this point, the Ford Mustang is inexpensive here in Canada selling for around $27,000 for V6 Performance Package version, and $37,000 for the V8, which have around 311 hp and 405 hp in that order. They are more refined with the newer models, and very fuel efficient. They are extremely fast too, and the V8 is a strong contender to the BMW M3. The Ford Mustang is also drivable in snow with proper winter tires, and can seat people in the back now. Other cars such as Subaru’s are more costly.
What do you think? I think that for the price, you have a car which would be a classic with time, and has super car like power from back in the day.
A: people say its fast because its power behind a light car but truthfully its a crappy car. All Fords are. I’m not just saying that from my opinion by the way. It might be faster than the camaro because its lighter but its a sucky car when it comes to luxury and for the money you can get a way faster car thats EASY and CHEAP to tune so you can easily make it faster. For that price you can get any of these three cars in….
1. 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi
2. 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
3. 2011 Mazda RX-8 Grand Touring
They have other trims of these cars that are cheaper but those are the more expensive trims because they’re faster and have more upgraded technology and luxury. HP isn’t everything. It’s about torque and weight mostly. HP is the last thing to worry about but that car sucks. American cars are just retarded.
Q: After-Market headrest for 2011 Ford mustang?
I love my 5.0, but those headrest are putting a cramp on my neck! I’ve tried adjusting the seat, but still no luck. My wife is short enough that the upward angle goes over her head. Is there a after-market headrest that is flat and leather wrapped? Thanks.
A: I know of no after market headrests for the 2011 Mustang. Usually such after market parts come out when there is a call for them. Not just one complaint.
Q: Is the 2011 Ford Mustang, 2dr cpe 3.7L a performance or high performance vehicle?
A: It’s a sporty car, not a high performance car.
Q: Yahoo AUTOS http://autos.yahoo.com/2011_ford_mustang/?
ok see the v6 mustang coupe how much do i have to pay for it what i dont understand is msrp and invoice which is the price how much do i have to pay just dont get it
A: It does get confusing doesn’t it,,
The MSRP is the Ford suggested retail price with options … The dealer can set whatever price they want …
The invoice is supposedly what the dealer buys the car from Ford for ,, You don;t buy the car from Ford, you buy from an independent dealer ..
A better place to check current Mustang pricing is cars.com … Dealers advertise their prices and you can see base 2011 v-6’s are being advertised for 21-22k … Base coupes have cloth seats, power windows and door locks, cruise control, a 150watt stereo and the 6-speed trans, An auto trans costs $995 more,
The premium V-6 has leather seats and run 25-k ..
…
Q: Best Catback Exhaust for 2011 Ford Mustang 5.0?
I’ve been doing some searching but the majority of websites never even mention actual performance gains. Most of the time they only talk about how loud the exhaust is. Does anyone know where I can find actual dyno results for the various exhausts offered for the 2011 5.0?
(I’m also interested in any proven gains from any mods for the 5.0. I’m very familiar with companies that produce parts for imports but I’m completely lost when it comes to domestic modifications.)
Justin, I’m really more interested in power than sound. Sound is important since I don’t want it too loud but power is more so.
A: EW, the stock exhaust system in your Mustang GT is fairly efficient form the factory. The same basic exhaust system with only minor differences is utilized on the 2007-2009 Shelby GT500 (in the case of the latter the H-pipe is swapped out for an X-pipe and mufflers tuned for an automatic trans equipped Mustang are utilized). The stock exhaust uses mandrel bent 2.5″ stainless tubing for a consistent cross-section throughout. Muffler selection at relatively stock power levels is more a matter of sound than power and will net a very little (if at all) increase in power by swapping them out.
Q: What is the name of the new 6 speed transmissions used in the 2011+ ford mustangs?
I have looked everywhere and there doesn’t seem to be any information about either the new 6 speed automatic or the 6 speed manual. So if anyone knows where I could find out more about these trannies, like what they are calling them or who is making them (I figure if i knew that much I could find out everything else myself.) It would be greatly appreciated thanks.
A: The 6 speed automatic is the 6R80, it’s made by Ford and can also be found in the new F-150, Expedition, Navigator and Explorer.
The 6 speed manual is the Ford MT82 it’s a join venture between Ford and Getrag.
