Q: do you HATE the new Toyota Highlander AD?
I just saw the ad and came straight to my computer so i could express my outrage at Toyota CATERING to children to sell a car. I owned Toyotas for years previously…I will no longer consider Toyota as a purchase option.

A: that little bastard dissed a Roadmaster wagon. my parents used to have one when i was a kid, and that sucker had an LT1 Corvette engine stock. i hate those ads.

Q: 2004 Toyota highlander new stereo system?
I currently have a factory stereo system. What do you recommend I replace the front and back speakers with? Also can i move JBL speakers from a newer 2007 toyota higlander to my 2004 toyota higlander? If so, how? BTW the 2007 toyota highlander owner already gave me the ok to do this.

A: It will depend on size, watts and independence of the JBLs.

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/FitGuide

Q: Brand new Toyota Highlander?
i currently have a 2005 toyota highlander, finished paying for it not to long ago. Looking at a brand new Highlander, but i’m not sure if i should get it because of the recalls, pricing, and competition. I love toyota’s, but i’m not sure if it’s even worth getting. Should i get it, or just look into something else?? (if so, what?) THANKS!!

A: You have a Toyota, presumably you are happy with the brand, you know what its like to have a quality trouble free vehicle, yet you want to take a chance? And try something else? Any recalls will be taken care of if you get a new vehicle. Recalls are commonplace with other makers, yet Toyota recall made headlines. Yes Toyota is worth getting.

Q: When should I perform the first oil change for a new 2006 Toyota Highlander?
Is it truly recommended to change the oil after the first 5,000 miles? Does metal shaving from the motor truly collect in the motor oil? I’ve noticed the used oil still looks new and clean after 5,000 miles.

A: Are you going to keep this car forever?
If so, change the oil after 500 miles. and the oil filter(for the FIRST time). Why? minute iron or aluminum filings can exist during the break in period, and we are only talking about 20 bucks here if you do it yourself.
If the car is leased, or if you usually get a new car every 5 or 6 years…. who cares. Wait until every 5000 miles. Nothing lasts forever.
YOU SHOULD REPLACE your oil plug with a magnetic oil plug. You’ll be surprised to see how many iron fillngs collect on it, in the oil pan even after 15 years of driving. Imagine the iron filings from a NEW engine.

Q: Where can I get roof rails for my new – used Toyota Highlander?
The dealership said to get Toyota manufactured roof rails it would be $1500. And the aftermarket would be $450. That is still more than what I was looking for. I want something that looks like the Toyota brand but am not willing to pay that much for them. Anyone know where I can get some?

A: I did this with a Nissan quest that had nothing, I installed the track rails and got the lockable thule crossbars all from these guys:

http://www.prolineracks.com/permanent-car-roof-racks.html

Many options depending on budget and it comes with instructions.

Good luck!

Q: does anyone know who sings the song in the new 2008 toyota highlander commerical?
it’s the one with the mirrored image effect, and the guy dancing in his seat in the passenger side. it sounds like it’s girls, and in a foreign language.

A: This web site maybe able to help you.

Q: when did the new Honda Pilot launch? when did the new Toyota Highlander launch?

A: Pilot Summer Of 2003
Highlander Early 2001

Q: so i want a new toyota highlander…?
i have a 2004 chevy trailblazer very good condition low miles almost 18,000 and i want to trade it in for 08 toyota highlander…but i need tips… how much i should pay for it… should i not tell them about my trade in until i get hopefully the lowest price?? What do u think i can get for my car?? Fyi I plan to do this in denver, colorado if that helps!

A: 1.Don’t negotiate the trade at the same time with the car you’re buying….actually, don’t tell that that you want to trade anything before you work out the numbers with the new vehicle.

2. Know the invoice of the car.
http://autos.yahoo.com/toyota_highlander/
______________
MSRP:
$27,300 – $34,150
Invoice:
$24,297 – $30,393
______________
You can’t expect to get less than the invoice.

3. Know the value of your trade.
http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/default.aspx
Go to trade-in value.

Q: when could we first test drive the new Toyota highlander 2008 is it this 3rd week of this month?

A: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/FVDP/MakeIndex/make=toyota

Edmunds says fall of 07 is the release date.

Q: i am planning to buy a new toyota highlander 2008 4×4, 3.5L V6 Non-Hybrid Engine, Sport, 5-Speed Automatic?
the vehical costs 31400 $. if with options I that costs $ 6275 as per toyota website and added rear dvd entertainment system it costs 37675$. How much is the cost for this vehicle out the door.

A: More than what one should pay. plus there is the cost of tax title and license. add a 1200 to 2000 to that depending on which state or country

Q: Was I the winner for a new toyota highlander contest. i am in need of a car.?
I am 29 yr old female. I have been entering car contests for the past year. My old car didnt pass state inspection so now i am with out a car for th past half of the year. I work but its not enough for my expensives.

A: ok huh??

Q: my brother purchased a toyota highlander 2005 new at the time.He needed tires, rotors and brake pads. Is?
anything on warrantee being he has only 45,000 miles on the truck. It is not a lease he purchased it brand new ..

A: If anything, your brother probably caused some damage that won’t be covered by the warranty because HE DIDN’T PERFORM PROPER MAINTENANCE FOR THE CAR.

ALWAYS have the brake pads and rotors checked during oil changes. They typically last between 20,000 to 30,000 miles before they need to be changed. If you don’t and the brake pads wear all the way down, it will damage your rotors (I’ll bet that’s what happened).

45,000-mile tire tread wear is normal. Getting new tires after that many miles is part of normal maintenance.

I’ll bet your brother probably never bothered to change the grease in the differentials either. They need to be changed every 20,000 miles, ditto transmission fluid.

You want that car to work properly? Stop deferring maintenance!

Q: I’m a teen looking to buy a new car…is the toyota highlander a good car?
How is the Toyota Highlander?

A: solid car.. it will get you to 200k miles

just have it checked out by a mechanic

use kbb.com to see the value of the car

my first car was a toyota and i loved it

Q: What is the difference between the Honda Pilot and the Toyota Highlander (newest ones for 2010)?
My family is looking into buying a new car! We can’t decide between a Pilot or a Highlander! Any help? Oh and IDK what the budget is!
Were mainly just looking for the difference in space! We have 2 parents and 2 daughters who have friends over!

A: Pilot has standard V6 and 3rd row seating. Both are optional on the Highlander.

Q: Does anybody know when the new 08 Toyota Highlander will be released for sale?

A: Most Toyota models are released as early as July, while the industry average is around October. It says on the Toyota website that the regular version would be out summer, while the hybrid will be out in fall.

Q: Does a brand new Hyundai Accent come with warranty?
In 2008 we bought a brand new Hyundai Accent and were told we automatically had a 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty so we assumed it just came along. Now when we need it, I don’t see any paperwork for this. Is this common? Do we have a warranty or not?

A: As long as you are the original owner, you should.

Call the service dept, give them your vin and they can tell you for sure.

Q: Where can I buy a cheap new Hyundai Accent 2010?
I would like to buy a new car and would like to buy one for no more than $10,000. I saw that they Hyundai and the Mazda are the cheapest cars with the greatest warranty.

I need suggestions
I would like a 4 door car with A/C. Preferably New I might go a little over $11K but it would have to be out the door price.

A: Your only option for a new car under $10K is a Hyundai Accent blue, a Kia Rio, a Chevy Aveo or a Nissan Versa base sedan.

All of them will come with a manual transmission, power nothing, no A/C and no radio.
You would be better off looking for a 2-3 year old Ford Focus or Mazda 3 with 30K miles unless you can live without all of the options these base models lack.

Q: I bought a brand new hyundai accent, can i return it?
I bought a brand new hyundai accent, can i return it?
Hi, I bought a 2009 brand new hyundai accent.. it is only 23,000 the ODO now ,I finance it, My family is becoming bigger,… Can I return my car to the hyundai store without charging me anything and get a bigger car (hyundai also).. I don’t like trading it coz I think I still pay the rest of my trade..
thank you guys…

A: Sure, you can trade it in and get about $8K for the trade in and then buy the Azera, if you owe more then $8K they will just add it onto your new loan. You might even get special financing and loyalty cash for buying a 2nd Hyundai.

Q: i just purchased 2009 New Hyundai Accent GL with Sport package. Power related buttons illumination questions.?
When the lights are turn on, only the Power window button on the dirver side illuminates, others do not ( including the button on the passenger door). is this normal. This is a 2009 Hyundai Accent GL with Sport package. thank you in advance.

A: yes, read your manual on this one.

Q: Mitsubishi colt or Hyundai New Accent?
i have the option to buy either cars, which on should i get?
if u own either would you recommend it?

A: Hyundai does make some good vehicles but the Accent is not one of them.

the Mit Colt is selling like wild fire in Europe and all over so they must be doing something right.

I read that the suped up model is fun to drive and they are coming out with several special editions at your dealer soon

so if you want a Hyundai get an Elantra or Santa Fe, avoid the Accent, Entourage, .Genesis and the Tiburon.

Q: Brand New Hyundai Accent Hatchback SE?
A co-worker told me that she bought a brand new hyundai accent hatchback se for $ 7500 dollars. She claims that she paid cash for the vehicle. The reason I am asking this question is because I only have $ 5,000 dollars to spend on a car and this sounds to good to be true.

I would love to get a brand new hyundai accent hatchback se.
I was thinking about getting a loan from my credit union. So is it possible to get a brand new hyundai accent hatchback se for less than $ 10,000 dollars in the Baltimore, MD area?

A: I highly doubt she bought it new for $7500 or maybe she is saying her loan is $7500 because she put down $3500 cash or had a trade-in. The GS 3-door has an MSRP of $10775 and a cash back offer of $1000, so its possible she paid as little as $9000. Then you still need to add on the destination charge, processing fee’s and state sales tax (6% of $10,000 is $600). If you have $5000 cash, I suggest financing the car in full and keeping the money in a Bank CD as your loan payment will be low anyway and it will help you build a strong credit history. You can probably get a 3-4 year old Accent for $5000 though.

Q: Help I just drove over 7 miles in my new 2010 hyundai accent GS with the hand brake on what do I do?
My malfunction indicator light turns on when i put the key in the ignition but it goes off as soon as I start the engine. While I am driving though it does not blink on and off it doesn’t even come on. So should I be concerned…Iam a first time car owner plz help!!!

A: Well, stop driving with the parking brake on, and that’s all you have to do to correct that concern.

Now, when you turn the key to the “on” position, all the warning lights should come on. This is a “bulb test” if you see it, that means the bulb is good so you know if there is a problem, the light will come on. This is normal and proper operation of the Check Engine Light or Malfunction Indicator Light.

Q: Out of these cars, which is the best to purchase brand new–Hyundai Accent, Nissan Versa, or the Chevy Aveo?
By best I am saying overall which is the best to purchase, in terms of cost of car, cost of maintenance, reliability, fuel performance, expected car life, insurance, safety rating, and so on…

A: From your car choice, you’re looking for a small car, for about 13k, right, none of the cars on the list are very reliable or comfortable, but if I had to chose, I would pick the versa. A better choice, I think, would be to buy a used car (06 up), you can get a vey nice car, that was sold for 40k new, so I would go for that.

Q: I give son $12,000 to buy brand new Hyundai accent. Instead he bought 1999 lexus rx300 and pocketed the rest?
I feel ashamed of son’s act. I gave my 21 year old son a check of $12,000 and asked him o buy a new hyundai accent. He wanted a car and i know it was necessary. So i just wanted to give him a basic car that can transport him from point A to point B, with no extra features. Instead he purchased 1999 lexus rx 300 with 65,000 miles on it for $9,000 and pocketed $3000. He later said accent is too tight and small car and it has no comfort at all. He argued the 99 rx300 is spacious and comfortable and that its fun driving it. I feel very angry because new cars never break down and last a long time. An already 10 year old car, with 65,000 miles on it for $9000 is outrageous. The is going to break down simply due to its age and i will not pay for repairs. Also its out of touch technology. Nowadays all news cars have electronic computers controlling transmissions. Thats not there in 99 rx300. Son made huge mistake, you agree?

A: Different strokes for different folks. When my kids said, “I want” I told them to want in one hand and poop in the other and see which one filled first. Giving kids everything they want especially adult kids just teaches them to come back and ask for more.

Q: How do I connect my i-pod to play in the 2010 Hyundai Accent?
We recently got a new Hyundai Accent. Do we need a special cable to play the iPod in the car’s AUX/USB port?

A: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102970&clickid=prod_cs#

This is what you need. It is a double male mini plug. Don’t let them sell you gold plated or anything expensive. This one is all you need.

Q: Cost of new transmission for a 97 Hyundai Accent?
Hi, I’m looking to buy a car and found a 97 Hyundai Accent for $1000. It says it might need a new transmission soon, just wondering if it’s worth this? Maybe I could talk down the price. What do you think?

A: If it is an automatic transmission, it won’t be that expensive. A Hyundai reman trans from the factory will cost about $1100.00. Figure 6 hours labor (or so) at anywhere from $75 to $100 per hour, depending on where you live. So,if you had to put $1600 in the car, is that car worth $2600? If it’s in good shape maybe so. Also ask the seller about the history of the timing belt. They are due for replacement every 60K, so if it’s due you can figure another $400 or so.

Q: What size and type of Rims would look good on a maroon 2007 Hyundai Accent?
i just bought a brand new hyundai accent its maroon and to me think that i cant put rims on just bc it might look weird..but then again dont really know much about rims!!! so if anyone knows a good size and type of rim that would look good on it please answer….and maybe also where i could get them!!! thanks
Okay so thank you but now i went to tirerack.com….looks good but would alloy or chrome be nicer….if chrome where can i go?

A: go to tirerack.com they have a program that allows you to “put” rims on your car virtually. Personally I’d say wait a bit to splurge on rims and look for something you like.

Q: New Tires for a 2004 Hyundai Accent?
My girlfriend needs new tires for her 2004 Hyundai Accent. Anyone care to recommend any to help us out? Theirs to many makes and models to choose from.

Thanks for the help!

A: Thankfully, your OE size is P175/70R13 so they shouldn’t cost too much. I believe your best value is the Kumho Solus KR21. It carries an 85k mileage warranty, road hazard coverage through the first 25% of tread wear, and roadside assistance. Oh yeah, they are priced nice too.

Q: how long will a brand new hyundai accent last? (if kept up with)?

A: 1. All new cars are built to be somewhat disposable (this only makes sense within the auto making business).

2. Now for your question:

It really depend on how well it’s maintained. Different cars (within a make) have different life spans, it’s really impossible to pin point life span. I’m quite impressed with my hyundai, and as far as the brand new cars out there, they make some of the best for the price. You’ll hear bad things, but since 2000, and especially since 2006 they’ve started making great cars, and have really turned things around. I’ve talked to a couple mechanics, and they have said new hyundais are doing much better (for mechanical problems) than both new toytas, and new hondas. In this case following old reputations (as some of the other answers are) is an erroneous strategy. I recommend hyundai 100%, they are the cutting edge of the industry, and are working very hard to change their reputation. In short, at least 200 000 km, if you treat it half decently.

Q: How much does a new windshield for a 2003 Hyundai Accent cost?
I have a huge crack on my windshield, I can see with no problem, but it’s mostly annoying and ugly. How much would it cost to get it replaced? How long would it take?

Thanks in advance!

A: The problem with cracks in windshields is that although initially inconsequential it could get worst and present a danger to you. Best to get it replaced as soon as you can. It should cost between 150-200 dollars and if you make an appointment, they could have your windshield ready and it won’t take but an hour to replace it.

Q: Did anyone else think the new Cadillac CTS was amazing?
Did anyone else think the new Cadillac CTS was amazing? I really think it was one of the nicest cars at the Detroit Auto Show.

A: Yes.
The 2008 CTS is the same as the 2009 CTS.

Q: What are the worst things about the new Cadillac CTS?
I’m sure it’s mostly great, but I just want to know what drawbacks it has. Thanks!

A: the ride isnt caddy smooth, and the resale value is crap. i looked at an 05cts this summer. it only had 18k miles and the DEALERSHIP was willing to give it to me for $15k (with free oil changes and carwashes for 2 years). if ur not gonna keep it until it runs into the ground, reconsider.

Q: Thinking about buying new cadillac cts 09?
Hello everyone just wondering if theres is any difference in the new 09 cadillac CTS compared to the 08? When i mean difference i mean the body or in the engine…(more of the engine) any who if not does anyone know if the cadillac 2010 will have a difference in the engine or body? any thing will help not sure if to wait and buy my car now or wait till next year about this time… thanks!
I love CADILLACS!!!!

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.enacre.net

Q: Does anyone know about how much the new Cadillac CTS coupes are going to cost?
I know they are coming out with it in the Summer of 09. A cadillac dealer already told me but he said he doesn’t know how much they are going to cost. They are very nice!!

A: your guess is as good as mine, I really don’t know when they are even coming out with it for sure but it is sharp.

Q: does the new cadillac CTS have optional paddle shifters?
would a new cadillac CTS be another option to buying a used 2003 BMW m3, Lexus IS 350, or Infiniti G37. What are some other sporty luxury cars ( new or used) with paddle shifters and between $30000— $40000.

A: No.

The 2008 CTS doesn’t have paddle shifters. The new 6 speed automatic transmission has the same Driver Shift Control as in prior years. Move the console shifter to the right on move it forward and backward to change gears. Good luck.

Q: Is it safe to drive the new Cadillac CTS in wintertime?
Where i live it gets icy and snowy and im scared of sliding. I live in michigan and we get storms here. Please help should i just get the wrx instead?
okay well child please doesnt help. Please people I’m really possible I’m getting a cts and I need to know before I buy it soon.
thanks

A: Of course. Just use common sense and keep the car in good shape. That goes for any car.

gordo – Its RWD.

Q: what is the name and artist for the song used on the new cadillac cts commercial?
it sounds like sade.

A: This song is called Love Sick by lindstrom & christabelle. You can use this link to see the songs video.Best of luck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CwGjsVhIIQ

Q: What is the song in the NEW Cadillac CTS commercial?
There is a NEW commercial out.

This one involves a woman of Asian heritage, driving a red Cadillac CTS at nighttime.

She says, “Sunglasses, sandals, a little color, and the perfect shade of lipgloss. But the ultimate summer accessory…metal.”

Immediately following the word metal starts a catchy rock/electric song. I wish to know the name. Thanks bigtime to anyone who can figure this out for me.

A: Hey man… you’re right…thats a great song. Here’s the info on it.

ARTIST: Black Iris Music
SONG: Firehydrant Floods
ALBUM: Original Composition

Q: Should i still buy a cadillac cts even though the new cts just came out??
i dont have enough money for the 08 cts but i can buy a used 04 cts. will the 04 model look bad compared to the new cts model?

A: The models look the same to me.Not much has changed sence 2004.The only true difference is price and number of options you can get on the new ones.Best of luck.

Q: Do you think the rear bumper on the new cadillac CTS 2 door looks ugly?
Here I uploade this because the car looks good but looks really cheap and ugly in the back! i could have looked so nice! http://www.flickr.com/photos/50979444@N06/4930696739/
Sorry for the type-o I typed i when I wanted to type It

A: it looks like a big fat pig.

like this guy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ghmy88Xl2L4

Q: Who is the actress in the new Cadillac CTS Commercial?

A: Kate Walsh, from Grey’s Anatomy…..hot!

Just ordered my 2008 CTS in crystal red! Can’t wait to get it!

Q: How can some people write reviews of new cars (Cadillac CTS 08) when these cars are not at dealers yet?
These cars are due at the dealers in mid to late Sept.

A: Cadillac CTS info and road test and reviews plus in Dealers show room since JUNE 12 2007. This is the early EDITION. LATE EDITION September 13 2007 CANADA. They have been on the drawing board for the last seven years. and on the prooving grounds for over one and a half years.

Q: What name should I give to my new, pearl white Cadillac CTS?
I want it to be a female name. I’ve only ever drove SUV’s so this is my first car. I am a 30 year old beautiful female. =)

Thanks for your help!

A: Christine

Q: is the new cadillac cts-v the fastest 4 door sedan?

A: Indeed it is the fastest sedan ever..The parts were upgraded to meet maximum speed potential for a sedan..Check out my source for you to know the details.

Q: a used 2007 BMW M3 or a new 2008 BMW 335 or wait for next year for a new 2009 Cadillac CTS-V???
I just inherited some money which becomes available next year after all the red tape and I want to buy a new car. I drove the BMW 335 and M3 already and like the way they drive but for the same price I can get a Caddy CTS-V with a 505hp V8 engine and it looks wayyyyyyy cooler. Which one should I get?????

A: Although at this time there is only speculation as to the specifics of the CTS-V, I would suggest waiting. My top pick between the BMW 5 series, 3 series and CTS is the 2008 Cadillac CTS hands down. Drive it for yourself. You may also want to consider the Chrysler 300 6.1L or Lexus GS450. Both ranked miles ahead of BMW in quality.

I would suggest staying away from the M3 for sure. That engine is a gem on paper but most blow up within 30k miles, some have even been reported to blow in just 5k miles and require complete rebuilds- cracked blocks is one example of a common problem. On top of that the engine is expensive to replace and requires many hours of expensive labor.
The 5 and 3 series engines are more reliable but have many electrical problems. My advice- go with the CTS-V. The wait will be well worth it. (Plus the CTS looks like a superstar compare to the 5 series with its spread eagle headlamps!)

Q: How much should i be paying if i want to purchase the new hyundai sonata 2010?
I been looking on Cars direct and got a price of $16800…. for a auto GLS.. that was with a $2500 rebate.. Couple dealers gave me a quote of around 15k plus tax… Has anyone got one under that?
insurance doesnt matter..

A: 15k plus tax is probably the lowest you will see. hopefully they are being straight up with you. they are blowing these out atm and thats a good price for a brand new Sonata with full warranty. even if it is an outgoing model, i have a feeling you won’t see the much lower. especially if the price of the average Elantra is above it

i actually prefer the Elantra to the outgoing Sonata, but of course for reasons you most likely aren’t interested in. but if the Sonata is being offered for just over $16,000 OTD with automatic with no ups and no extras, thats most likely the best deal you will see aside from some gimmicky “specials.” even $16,800 is good if tax and all fees are included. but if not, sure, you can do better then that. probably by several hundred dollars, at least

if the 15K offers are straight up with no hidden add ons or fees besides tax and license, and you want the car, i’d say now is good a time as any

however, look at this recent forum thread where some are getting GREAT deals on 2010 Sonata’s and Elantra’s

http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/995197/?start=0

the info given is regional specific, so your area may not be included. but you never know?

Q: What is “break in” period for new Hyundai Sonata?

A: There is no such thing anymore as a break in period, the high quality of machining of parts eliminated this requirment about 20yrs ago.

Q: How do you find the new Hyundai Sonata NF 2.0 CVVT?
About performance, quality, price as campare with the new Toyota camry

A: You can always go to one of the online car buying sites and do a car comparison or sometimes the manufacturer sites have comparison pages to do research. If you’re interested in the specifics of the cars, check out the quick link I put in the sources. I just did a comparison between the 2007 Hyundai Sonata and Toyota Camry using carsdirect.com. Hope this helps

Q: Where do I find a new ‘05 Hyundai Sonata clock ?
I believe I need to replace the clock in my 2005 Hyundai Sonata. The clock turns on and off sporadically, and now has completely dead. I looked online and a lot of the Hyundai Parts sties didn’t have one. Would I be better off just going to the dealership and getting one?
Thanks.

A: Yes, you need to replace it. Typical symptom. Get one from dealer or junkyard. These are the only two sources available on the market,….. unfortunately.

Q: i buy new hyundai sonata 2008 and its brand new but still i m getting my window frost from inside ?
even if i start my defrost button for winsheild and for back but still i m not getting my back both glass defrost so i cannot see when i want to see back to change the lane so please request you to give me some better answer for my problem

A: i have the same problem with my 2001 accent. it is getting frozen i can’t see a dam thing, but for the back their is a button with a white small light with defroster sign u have to push it to on. it’s somewhere u have look to find it. once it is on u will notice ur back windshied will get heat start to clear out. but for mine i figured that the air is not blowing on to the front windshield i don’t know why i asked people to help. check to insure if it’s blowing onto ur windshield feel with ur hand if the heat is coming out at all, something could be blocking it.

Q: Would you rather have a new Hyundai Sonata or a lovable dog?
I would like a new car, but not if it means I have to give up my little doggy.
@Dan: I was watching TV and a Hyundai commercial came on. That’s what made me think of this question.

A: I’d pick the dog more dependable and besides you don’t have to take them to a station when they run out of gas!

Q: Do you like the new hyundai sonata 2009?

A: it’s ok but not Great.

handling is not agile.

take a look at the Kia Optima & Rondo.

much better vehicles.

Q: New 2009 Hyundai Sonata model already?
I just saw the new redesigned 2009 Hyundai Sonata and got an invitation to test drive one the end of February. I can’t wait to write my review. They are making some big claims but the last time they did that, they fell short again. The look is more refined and the interior materials are said to be “higher quality,” but I’ll wait and see when I see it.

One of the reasons the resale value is so poor on Hyundais is because every 2 or 3 years they change the look and body style of their cars, and we all know nobody wants to drive around in an old model when they can have a new one. Right? I feel bad for those who want to buy a new 2008 model and think they are getting a good deal. What do you think? Have you seen it?
klj- If you really are a “biochemistry student” then you must be failing all of your classes. How do you spend 10+ hours per day here writing responses to Hyundai questions if you have to study for Biochem? Give us all a break- There are more Hyundai sales people here than there are questions, and they come out of the closet everyday. Some even proclaim their title proudly!
aj2003- Written like a true Hyundai sales representitive. lol. Its bad enough that Hyundai already has such poor resale value, now add it a new model in just 3 years time and you have dealers that will be stuck with 2007 AND 2008 leftovers that will need to be sold at a very STEEP discount. Can you spell ‘depreciation’ for me?
Bobby- you sound so patriotic! “American made.” LOL Why don’t you explain how all corporate profits go straight back into the pockets of Koreans in Korea?

Oh, BTW, Hyundai is not class leading in any single catagory, according to Car and Driver. Their last test of the Sonata placed it dead last in a midsize comparison test and their Tuscon just came in 8th place out of 9! But don’t take their word for it- test drive one yourself. “Think about it.”
klj0412- I almost forgot. Hyundai isn’t selling cars because they are building cars that nobody wants, not because of their sales people. All their potential buyers have bought already or tried to sell their Hyundai and found out how much they lost. Again, there is NOT ONE Hyundai that is better than all other cars. Not one. Think about that. GM on the other hand has one hit after another- Enclave, Malibu, Acadia, Sky, Corvette, ZR1, Z06, CTS, CTS-V, Hybrid Tahoe, Hybrid Escalade, Hybrid Yukon winning award after award and selling better than expected. And soon, the Traverse, the Camaro, the CTS coupe and a whole line of new Cadillacs will be there. Chrysler and Ford are in a major turn around phase that will follow in the foot steps of GM. Need I say more? Put your resignation in today at Hyundai and join up in a GM dealer. There will be plenty of work to do!

A: Yup I just saw it on yahoo. I think its ok looking. I dont know why they need an update already. But after my experience with my Veracruz which I traded in for a much much better CUV I definitely would never buy a Hyundai again!!!!!! Very bad resale!!! I got pennies on the dollar for what I paid for it.

Q: where can i get a new center console for a 2002 hyundai sonata?
The cup holder completely fell into the console and broke off. Im guessing i need a whole new one? It’s the top part wood grain. Or do i just need like the top wood grain part that they are connected to? I have no idea.
It’s the cup holderes but it’s like a whole top piece that cracked where they go and are like glued in. Just coffee cups so i dont know why it went.

A: You need just the cup holder. You can get it from dealer or junkyard for cheaper.

Q: How about Hyundai new SONATA? is this all right??

A: IT’S A GREAT ONE FROM THE HYUNDAI MOTOR LIMITED. IT’S A FAR BETTER CAR AS COMPARED TO IT’S OLDER VERSION -THE SONATA GOLD. IT’S POWER IS AWASOME AND FOR MORE DETAILS VISIT THIS SITE TO KNOW ABT THIS NEW SONATA AND OTHER GOOD CARS http://saadat92.tripod.com/fastcars/index.album?i=8

Q: Hyundai Sonata ( new shape ) 2.4 auto transmission problem.?
I have just bought a 2005 hyundai sonata 2.4 cdx 4 speed auto.

The car is good except for one problem. When the auto box shifts from 2nd to 3 rd it comes with a lurch and clunk when cold. Once it warms up a bit it becomes smooth .

Does anyone have any ideas if it’s a big problem ? Have you had this problem , if so , how was it resolved.

Thanks in advance.

D.D.

A: You might have it checked out, but slow shifting when cold tends to be a normal thing in Hyundai transmissions from what I hear from my service techs.

Q: Am I the only one who thinks that new Hyundai Sonata ad is CREEPY?
Your opinion, please.
Ok, details:
Creepy sighs all through the commercial.
Sounds like a horror movie trailer, not a commercial.
I don’t even think they meant it to have that effect!
Awwww gee…Jay is the only one who knows what I’m talking about!!

A: Yes I do think it’s creepy !!

Q: if my hyundai sonata needs new springs can i take them off other make or model?

A: I wouldn’t advise it. If you get springs specifically for your Sonata, you know you’re getting the correct ones. Otherwise they may not be the right diametre. They could also be either too soft or too hard, or too long or too short. Any of which would give you a terrible ride and could cause many other problems as well.

Q: what do you think of the new 2011 hyundai sonata?

A: Well its a good car after all

Q: My 2000 Hyundai Sonata dashboard power went off when i installed a new cd player.?
I install a new cd player system, and everything was working fine, but then my clock and and power locks stop working. What can i do?

A: You may have either pinched a wire or pulled a connector apart in the process of installing the cd player.

First check for blown fuses. Use a test light. $5-10 at the local parts store.

If that does not resolve problem pull the cd player back out and look for damaged wiring in the dash.

Learn more about new 2011 Ford Mustang at your automotive destination AutoFans.us

Q: whats the story in the new 2011 mustang?
they bring back the 5.0 Litre and ford says there is 412 HP is that the real power or is it more then that or less, because in some videos on youtube some of the new mustang does a dyno test and they get like 300 something so whats the real HP on this car

A: 412 is the true HP of the engine.A chassis dyno check HP at the rear wheels. You lose about 20% of your HP though the drive train.

Q: Are they making a 2012 Ford Mustang V6?
I’m considering buying the 2011 Ford Mustang V6 Premium (New, from a ford dealer) around May-June, and I was curious if a 2012 version of this car is coming out around that time and if it was even worth it to get the 2011. I know the Boss is coming out in 2012, but I wasn’t sure if the standard Mustang was.

Mainly im just asking if and when the 2012 Ford Mustang V6 is coming out.

A: There will always be a Mustang it’s Ford’s bread & butter vehicle, and they would be stupid to discontinue the model and alienate their customers. They will make a 2012 model, but it won’t reach the dealer lots till sometime in the late fall of this year.

Q: When will they stop selling new 2011 Mustangs?
I’m just asking this because I’ve seen the new mustangs and they are in my opinon better than last years. They have great mileage as well and I’m wondering If I could get one customized in the late May – early June time frame. Or will it be too late and I’ll have to go car hunting at the local ford dealers for leftovers or ones they have available?

A: 2012

Q: Has the mustang always been a 4 seater?
I’ve been seeing the new 2011 mustang commercials and got me interested in them. As I was building my ford mustang online I noticed that it only seats 4. Has it always been like that?

A: Mustangs have always been a “2 + 2″ seater. You can fit 2 adults in the front easily enough but the rear is fit only for small children or adults that you REALLY hate.

Q: New Ford 3.7 V6 in 1998 Mustang?
My 1998 Mustang is up to 164,000 miles. It’s still running fine for now, but once it gets up to 200k I’m afraid it will need a new powertrain. Rather than put in another reman 1998 engine, I thought it would be nice to put in one of the new 2011 3.7 engines with a matching 6 speed transmission. That would bring my horsepower from 150 to 305, still getting 30 mpg on the highway. Does anyone know if this engine/transm

A: Yeah, it just won’t drop in. It’s not a practical swap at all, you’ll likely spend close to the same amount as you would if you just flat out buy 2011 Mustang. Your idea is not a practical one. Nothing will be a direct swap, you’ll need custom motor mounts, new radiator, all new accessories ( A/C compressor, electric PS motor,, alternator, etc.) You’ll need new a brake booster and master cylinder as the hydroboost system that you’re currently using won’t work since the new engine will have electric power steering, new exhaust of course, you’re going to want an 8.8 inch rear axle, you’ll need a new driveshaft, and you’ll need a new clutch as well. I’m sure there’s a ton of parts I’m missing. And yeah, you’ll need the engine and transmission themselves too.

We haven’t even gotten into the fabrication aspects of this asinine swap yet.

Q: Will there be a new Roush Mustang?
In 2006, NASCAR racing company Roush modified the Ford Mustang. They supercharged it, fitted it with a limited slip differential, stiffened the chassis and lowered the ride height. I said at the time it was the best muscle car ever, and I’ll stand by that. Will Roush be modifying the 2011 Mustang?

A: Yes, positively.

Q: Should I buy an ‘05 Ford Mustang GT?
I’m getting a really good deal on a convertible 5-speed Mustang GT 2005. 30k miles. $17k. And they’re taking over the loan payments on my Cobalt which is has inequity. Prolly $1500. I know getting a convertible is a bad idea in the winter but that’s why I’m buying it right now. Good price. All other GT Mustangs are over 20k with this many miles. But the problem that I’m seeing is the new 2011 V6 mustangs have 315 horsepower. The 2005 GT has 300. Is my GT going to go down in price when everyone figures out the different in power between the two? If 17 isn’t a good price then what is? Car dealers only please. Thanks for all your answers
alright well if i’m getting @$$raped on a 2005 convertible gt mustang with 30k miles for 17k then tell me what i should be paying. and show me a craigslist post in the st. louis area because i can’t find $#^T
that last link wasn’t a GT.
and on cars.com each mustang convertible was around 17,900
so should i take this offer?

A: HAHAHA “go camaro. every high school girl has a mustang”

I’m gona go with the top contributor on this one. Mustangs are okay but camaros have corvette engines and corvettes are fast. You wana go fast don’t you?

Q: 2011 mustang V6 vs Cobalt SS turbo ?
now now … my friend bought a cobalt ss turbo last year, says he can beat pretty much everything on the road. wikipidea says it does 0 – 60 mph in 5.7 sec. so yeah now i want to get something even faster. and BOOM the new 2011 mustang came out with a 6 gear tranny and a new V6 305 hp engine, and for the first time ever i am proud of ford. ( its about time they kick in more HP) anyways.. on the internet i found out that it did 0 – 60 in 5.1 sec … but my friend keeps saying that his cobalt will beat it ? …… soooo tell me what you guys think ? … did anyone try it yet ? … i want to get the mustang next year but i need to make sure that it WILL pass his cobalt even by a bumper !

A: A Cobalt? Really? Yeah, Wikipedia’s best known for providing accurate information. Your buddy probably got on there and typed in 0-60 IN 5.7 SECONDS. :3 I think you’ll be fine. Go and kick some Cobalt @$$!

Q: Will a dealership lower the price of their car if buy the car in whole?
Im heading to my local ford dealership to purchase a NEW $28,000 2011 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6.
If i were to purchase the car in one payment right there and then will they drop the price if so how much? are there rules to how low they can go?
please dont bash my car choice, anybody with experience with car dealerships would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

A: Dealers get cash for all the cars they sell. No special considerations for walking in with 280 $100 bills. They might even dislike it because they have to fill out a currency report.

Plus, on cash deals, they have no chance to make any finance kickbacks.

All cash does is let them know they have a willing & able buyer.

You are unlikely to get a better or worse price because of cash.

It all depends on your negotiating skills and your data.

Do you know dealer cost ? Are you playing 2 or more dealers against each other ?

You should.

Q: Anyone else thing Ford is going to bounce back?
Has anyone else seen what Ford is fleshing out in 2010-2011.

A new Ford Taurus(which looks amazing in spy shots)
a new Ford Focus(which looks sick as well)
a new mini car dubbed Fiesta(which is awesome looking)
a refreshed Fusion
a refreshed Mustang

Ford is going to stay in good shape!

A: Of the big three, Ford has the best chance to bounce back. Less dependant on Big SUV’s. Some other factors that I don’t remember off the top of my head.

Q: Do you prefer the new Mustangs, or the new Camaros?
Is this article accurate?

http://jalopnik.com/5362504/2011-mustang-v6-to-out+torque-camaro-v6

It doesn’t sound accurate nor fair to me. First of all, they have different figures for the V6 Mustang. In some places it says that the V6 Stang will have 305HP. In others, it says 315HP. Well, which is it?

Also, in the graph comparison, it is incorrect. The 2010 Chevy Camaro actually has 304HP, not 300. Moreover, they aren’t comparing apples and apples. They’re comparing a 2011 Ford Mustang to a 2010 Chevy Camaro. But I guess I am biased, because I like the Camaros more.

What is your opinion?

A: Regarding the next generation Mustang V6 engine, I believe it’s the Duratec 37 engine, and is expected to output 305hp.

Anyway, I definitely prefer the Camaro in either V6 or V8 form. More sophisticated tech under the hood in V6 form and good old American tech under the hood in V8 form (GM is still using good old American pushrod engine technology while Ford has sold out and gone with SOHC for most of its V8 engines). Also has a much more sophisticated suspension than Mustang.

Also, when you compare the 2, the only way Mustang wins is when you take the Shelby GT500, but it’s a supercharged beast, while the Camaro SS is naturally aspirated. If Z-28 ever comes out it’ll be supercharged and is expected to easily match anything out of Shelby or Roush. When it comes to naturally aspirated models, Camaro absolutely destroys the Mustang.

Camaro V6 = 304hp
Mustang V6 = 210hp (I know Ford is coming out with a new V6 that will push 300+hp, but it’s not out yet.)

Camaro V8 = 426hp
Mustang V8 = 315hp (Naturally Aspirated) 540hp (Supercharged)

Next years Mustang V8 is expected to be DOHC and output 400hp to finally be competitive with the Camaro V8 and Challenger V8. So GM will need to do some work on next year’s Camaro if they want to retain the performance crown in the NA category. Or they could just release the Z-28.lol

Q: which would be best for a first car ?
gonna be my first car im 15 going on 16 & im a sophmore in school . it needs to be reliable , good mpg , small , sporty, & fun to drive & automatic . me & my dad already talked about these cars & he likes them , but idk what to pick which should i cross out before test driving them , i whcih car would probably be lest on insurance ? , i know the mustang is gonna be high rockin high , but do you think the other ones would be expensive ?

2001-2005 lexus is300 (ill be able to get a new car when i graduate if it has a problem )
2008-2010 scion tc ( i wont be able to get a new car when i graduate since this car is new)
2008-2010 chevy cobalt lt coupe ( i wont be able to get a new car when i graduate since this car is new)

thanks

A: From your list the Cobalt is a good first car. The insurance shouldn’t be too bad and they are reliable and not expensive to service.

Mustang – yep the insurance will kill you.
Lexus – also high insurance but also expensive to service and repair.

Scion – I hear good reports but kinda quirky to my taste and I suspect their popularity with young people will push the insurance up.

Q: what car should i get ?
gonna be my first car im 15 going on 16 & im a sophmore in school . it needs to be reliable , good mpg , small , sporty, & fun to drive & automatic . me & my dad already talked about these cars & he likes them , but idk what to pick which should i cross out before test driving them , i which car would probably be lest on insurance ? , i know the mustang is gonna be high rockin high , but do you think the other ones would be expensive ?

thanks

A: The Cobalt is going to be the cheapest on insurance (unless you only get liability coverage on a 10-year-old Lexus – something you wouldn’t likely be able to/want to do with a newer car) it will get the best fuel mileage of the cars you list, and the newer it is the more reliable it will be (and if it’s new enough you’ll still have factory warranty remaining). Unfortunately it will also be the least fun to drive.

If you’re looking for the fastest of the four, the 2011 V6 Mustang is easily the fastest car of your four choices. It’s got 305hp – about 100hp more than the second most powerful Lexus and almost double the power of the Scion or Cobalt. If it’s new it will also be pretty reliable….and if it’s not reliable it doesn’t really matter because it will be under factory warranty for 3yr/36K mi. Fuel mileage won’t be great (though it won’t be embarassingly low – probably about the same or slightly better than the older Lexus actually) and insurance will probably be higher since it’s fast, but it would absolutely blow the doors off all your other choices.

I wouldn’t bother even looking at the older Lexus if I had a choice of 3 newer cars too. The Lexus was OK for what it was, but it wasn’t ground-breaking in any specific way even when it was brand-new.

The Scion is probably a nice compromise between the Lexus and Cobalt if you’re not considering the Mustang. The Scion is more fun to drive than the Cobalt and is a little nicer inside too, but insurance will probably be higher for the Scion since it’s typically younger kids who drive them.

Q: new car for christmas ?
hey guys im looking for my second car , im currently driving a 2001 Nissan Sentra GXE . Its my brothers and he was just letting me use it for a while because he uses that car to go to work . Next year ill be giving it back to him , i asked my dad if i could get a small used luxury vehicle ( my dad has a 2006 jaguar xj8 & my mom has a 2004 infiniti g35 sedan ) but he said no because my insurance would be expensive & i asked , well what about a new mustang & he said maybe . i just want the basic 2010-2011 v6 one . i dont want the gt or premium stuff . it has to have the pedestal spoiler & i would like the leather seats but ill be fine if i dont get the leather seats .

im a sophomore in high school & again this is going to be my second car , im always on the ab honor roll & my gpa is a 3.71 & im in the top 25% of my class ( 120 out of 472 ) . I have a job .

so what do you think ? is a 2010-2011 ford mustang a good second car for me ?
im looking for reliability , decent mpg , & something that is smooth .
thank you , please no rude answers , i want honest answers , thanks .

A: if i were you i would stay out of general motors you want a fast car try getting a mazda those are nice sports cars also nissan. avoid toyota, honda, dodge, crystler, ford and some other cars are not doing so good but it is your choice and you get what you want

Q: Where to buy Ford engines?
My dad and I are looking into rebuilding an old Mustang Fastback (1964-1969, we don’t have the actual car yet). We’re probobly going to just buy one without an engine and put a new one in. Ford just came out with the new 2011 Mustang V6 engine with 305hp at 31mpg (as well as the new V8 “Coyote”). This sounds pretty good for what we are doing. Where could I buy one of these engines without buying an actual new car?

A: Build it for the track, its less money

Q: When will the new Chevrolet Camaro finally become avaliable?

A: 2009

Q: Has anyone seen the new Chevrolet Camaro?
It hasn’t came out just yet I have seen it online though.

A: Awesome car!

Q: Ok is it just me or do the new 2009 chevrolet camaro and the 2008 Cadillac XLR roadster look semi alike?
http://www.cadillac.com/cadillacjsp/model/gallery.jsp?model=xlr&year=2008
http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/
I mean they are both manufactured by GM so could they be idk never mind. just do you see similarities like I do?

A: ya they do! its kinda cool of course they are made by the same company idk but ya i tink they did that for a reason

Q: when is the new chevrolet camaro going on sale in ireland?

A: 2010 is when the new Camaro will be unveiled at a U.S. price on $87,500

Q: In Transformers what song is playing when bumblebee changes from a old camaro to a new chevrolet camaro?
I really whant to know this song and my parents don’t know it. HELP!!!!!

A: the song is “Battle Without Honor or Humanity” by Tomoyasu Hotei

Q: What is the value of the new 2007 Chevrolet camaro?

A: Will be expected around the $25k mark.

Probably something like $20k for the V6, and something like $22 to $28 for the Z or SS (V8).

Q: whats better a new dodge challenger or a new chevrolet camaro? ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn-EmsWiRkY
Challenger

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1hZhYfkrAI
Camaro

A: I say the Challenger. Much better than the slowmaro anyday.

Q: New Chevrolet Camaro has 4 doors??? ?

A: They said that a long time ago to try to get attention but it will only come out with 2 doors.

check out these pics

http://www.edmunds.com/il/chevrolet/camaro/index.html?mktcat=chevrolet-camaro-type&kw=chevrolet+camaro+4+door&mktid=ov48371804#

Q: Price and facts about a 2006 or newer Chevrolet camaro.?
Ok so I’m 16 and I want a camaro. I like the look a of the new ones better and I’m not one of those kids that just says that one pretty I know the specs fairly well. I would just like some advice for others or some one who has a newer model camaro. I would also like to know a the price on a used one In good shape cuz I’m gonna have some part in buying it. Thanks in advance.

A: If you know the specs so well you would know there isn’t an 06, 07, 08, or 09 model. Since its at best 1 yr old and in pretty high demand the chances of finding one for sale isn’t real good and the price isn’t going to be much lower than a new one. Chances are if someone is selling one its because they beat it up and trashed it already.

Q: when chevrolet camaro (new shape) will come?

A: January of 2009

Q: Chevrolet Camaro does it need a new fuel injector??
have been having problems with my car. It’s a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro v6, 3.4. It has almost 150,000 miles on it. Lately when I have been driving my car it seems to idle a lot, and when I go to press the gas it’s like it doesn’t want to go. The temperature control goes from 160 up to the next line. When I’m at a stop sign it will act like it wants to keep going and jerks some. It also I think backfires some. When I get home and turn the car off it makes a sound like the engine was heated or something. And sometimes smells like gas when I get out. We put a new filter on thinking it was that but it wasn’t. I heard it was my fuel infector. The check engine light comes off and on all of the time. Also, black smoke comes out of the pipe in the back. Anyone have any tips??

A: I would check your temp. sensor. From all the information, it sounds like that’s the most common problem for all of it.
If it’s telling the computer the engine is cold, the engine runs full rich.
If it’s reading the engine is cold, it will not turn the radiator fan on and cool the engine when needed.
So I would have it checked by a professional. So you don’t end up swaping parts and spending alot of unnessary money.
hope this helps!

Q: I need a Chevrolet salesman or someone that knows alot about the new Camaro.?
I really want the new camaro but people say they will find flaws and not to get it. Is this true or am i safe to get it?

A: I’ve always been told to never buy the first year’s model. Wait until it’s been out at least 2 or 3 years.

Q: I need heaps of pics of the Chevrolet Camaro found in the new Transformers Movie?
full car shots, not parts please

thamks

A: http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=A0geu6P49oRGOgMAeW1XNyoA?ei=UTF-8&p=2008%20camaro&fr2=tab-web&fr=ks-ques

Q: Price on New Chevy Camaro concept car?
Hi, does anyone know the price of the new chevrolet camaro car? If so, how much is it?
Thanks

A: base camaro, 29.000…. loaded out 40.000…………….

Q: how much for a 1987 Chevrolet Camaro RS new engine preferably a V8?
i just need some price ranges even if V6 tell me what u think

Q: Service plans for new 2009 Subaru Forester worth it?
The saleswoman at the dealership is urging me to go with warranty extension, platinum shield protection and vehicle protection. My question is, is it beneficial to go with these protections or are they more of a money grab? I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba so we have quite wicked winters. If anyone could provide feedback on these plans it would be greatly appreciated! I should (as long as all works out) have my new Forester on Saturday! Very excited to own such a great vehicle!!

A: We have owned at least 6 Subarus and have never had to have any warranty work done – just normal maintenance. Extended warranty plans are a good money maker for the dealership, but a big waste of money for you.

Q: What is the name of the song on the new Subaru Forester commercial (I think it’s by the Pogues)?
It’s an Irish/Celtic song. The commercial shows a mom driving a few kids home from a hockey game as an Irish tune plays in the background. What is the name of this song? It sounds very much like the Pogues. Thanks!

A: if i should fall from grace with god by pogues

Q: When new redesigned Subaru Forester will be available? As which model year?
If you own Subaru Forester what is your opinion on reliability and 4 wheel drive capability? Thanks.

A: Don’t know about a redesign. Just had a facelift this year. The reliability is and all wheel drive is AA+ as in all Subaru vehicles.

Q: question about paint on new subaru forester?
Purchased a new 2010 subaru forester premium x about 2 weeks ago..washed it for the 1st time yesterday..after drying it i noticed that in some areas the paint [ "spark silver" ] isnt smooth to the touch..it actually feels gritty, almost like fine grit sandpaper, but not that bad…its especially noticable on the right rear door…also feels the same on the plastic trim pieces on the window frames above the right front and right rear doors….the paint looks good, shiny, etc…is this a factory defect in the paint,,some type of overspray?…or could it be glue from the white plastic protective film they ship the cars with?..not sure if that film comes on the doors or not, never paid it much attention…i would hope the vehicle wasnt damaged somehow and repaired before i bought it…it had 90 miles on it,which is more than i like for a new car but this car had the color and options we wanted… other areas of the car are smooth to the touch,,,,other areas in-between…am i being too picky?…dont want to just walk in and ask the dealer,,i’m sure they will just minimize the problem, especially since i dont know anything about car paint,,but i’m pretty sure it shouldnt feel gritty..any opinions??

A: This is not intended to be legal advice.

You have a problem! Subaru does a good job painting their vehicles. I’d be very suspicious that this car was damaged and then very cheaply repaired by the Dealership. Also, if that is the case, they probably did not apply the clear coat on top of the color or they would have discovered the situation and remedied it.

Try this: in an inconspicuous spot where you have the ‘orange peel’ paint, with a damp cloth, thoroughly rub in a small dab of car wax (Use a brand that claims to be “cleaner wax”). Do you get any color on the cloth? If so, there is no clear coat and the color coat isn’t fully cured. Take detailed photos of the results.

Personally, given that an entire door may be involved, I’d demand another vehicle. Alternatively, you may put up with a complete repaint of the affected areas, at the body shop (best reputed, most expensive in town) of your choice. Beyond that, there is the Regional Representative for Subaru of America. Beyond that there is the law: This might be a case of fraud; you bought a new car and got a used and damaged one.

Q: New 2008 Subaru Forester – is this a cool, posh car in States?
Or medium, or what?
For everybody, or for the rich?
2.5X Sports
Turbocharged, Auto transmission, moonroof, Newport blue.

what is “moonroof”?

A: It’s a sports-utility vehicle intended to be more of a practical family car.

If you want a “posh” SUV then you probably want to look at luxury brands like Mercedes, BMW, Cadillac, Infiniti, Lexus, Lincoln, Land Rover, etc.

Q: What’s the name of that new Subaru Forester 2009 commercial?
The one where the sumo wrestlers are washing the car?

Thanks you guys!

A: Do you mean the name of the song?? It is Danger: high voltage by Electric Six

Q: we’re thinking of buying a new subaru forester xt. msrp is $27,700, how much should i haggle? what price did
you get yours for? it’s my first time buying a new car from a dealer.

A: What I did was visit several dealerships (this takes time and effort) and I finally found one that was less than the rest.

Q: My new 2007 Subaru forester had problem so I had car serviced 4times for same problem.?
Only 6weeks old car. I had rough riding and tapping noise underneath of body from the moment of delevery . I had been service four times, Fornt drive shafts had to be swaft side to side then removed and replaced . But still have rough riding and tapping noise at certain RPM. But dealer denied my claim. I lodged complain to fair trading. and they said to me I will have in dependent mechanic. If independent mechanic verify the problem, can I ask dealer to give me replacement? Also Is it good idea to get car check report from other independent mechanic like NRMA to support my claim before the one from fair trading?

A: First you may have a Lemon and need to contact a Lemon Law firm for some help. There is a book called “Identifying a Lemon” that can help you when preparing your case for a Lemon Law claim. I read the book and it really helped me with my lemon car. I got it free from lemonprotection.com, I had to pay the PH but it was worth it. Good Luck and GOD Bless

Q: How much for a new catalytic converter on a 2001 Subaru Forester?
Parts & labor from a muffler shop in Maryland.

A: Muffler shops have access to universal cats. They are as low as $100 plus labor. Subaru’s have a unique shape, so it’s a little harder to find. There are dozens of good used ones in MD. Call a wrecking yard and take it to ANY mechanic to have it installed.

Keep in mind, they get as much as $200 for a cat for the palladium inside them.

Q: Subaru Forester….is it a good first car for a new driver?
I’ve nailed down a good deal on a slightly used, 2008 subaru forester near me and I’m looking to buy it as a first car using the family’s retired outback as a trade-in. Is it a good bet? It does have AWD and side airbags, so that can’t hurt.

A: Great choice. All wheel drive, good mpg, safe, and not too fast. Should be cheap on insurance and license, too. Car and Driver magazine likes it and they only like sports cars.

Q: Problems with a new 2010 Subaru Forester built-in GPS Navigation system.?
We’re finding that even with the instruction pictures, the Subaru GPS is virtually useless, almost continually wanting us to do a u-turn. We’re resorted to using our older-trusty Garmin nuvi, which is very intuitive and logical to use. I can’t imagine why such a poor/complicated system is included with a fine car. I’ll be contacting the dealer/manufacturer for some compensation if we can’t get the unit working correctly..Any other suggestions would be most appreciated.

A: Try this.

http://www.autodvdgps.com/

Q: Is a 2001 Subaru Forester a good and reliable car for a new driver?
I am getting my license in april and i am looking for a reliable car, i want one with AWD since i live in NE, and my budget is roughly 1500-2000

A: All modern (since, say 1995, perhaps earlier) Subarus are great cars. During this time of global economic upheaval, Subaru continues setting sales records. People are smart: they know a good deal — value for the dollar– when they see it.

I currently have two Subaru Outback wagons in my garage: a 1997 and a 2008. I bought them both new, and would recommend the cars to anyone. That said, you need to remember that Subarus are like any car that has been used. Do your homework: check the documentation on required service, get the Car Fax, and spend the couple of hundred dollars on the car you’re about to buy to get a Pre Purchase Inspection from a Subaru mechanic.

I’ve owned larger and more expensive four wheel and all wheel drive cars. Subaru is the best, including the much pricier Audi, when it comes to snow and ice handling. Big SUVs can’t come close.

I’m not sure your budget is enough though.

Q: Why won’t my iPod nano 5th generation play in the built in Subaru Forester iPod port?
I have a 2010 Subaru Forester and a new iPod 5th generation nano. The nano won’t play and I wanted to know why. Thanks!
I am using the Aux port. I read that the 5th gen nano isn’t supported, but there is a software download you can get. Any ideas on that?

A: Are you changing your radio to the AUX port setting? If not, that is why it is not working.

Your output from the iPod is coming from the headphone out jack to the AUX input. It should make no difference if you are using an iPod of any generation – the sound is coming from the same place. You do have to have the radio input switched to the AUX setting and you do have to have the volume on the iPod up a bit.

Q: I just got new rear struts on my subaru 2004 forester. The car now slopes down towards the back.?
Are the struts the right size. If the springs were stuffed surely then the i would have noticed the slope prior to getting new struts.

A: Were there spring pads above and below that they forgot to put back in

Q: I have a 2009 Subaru Forester purchased new with only 3 miles on it.?
The engine is very noisy when I first start it up. It sounds like a diesel until the engine warms up and then it quiets down. I asked a mechanic where I purchased the car and he said the noise was because the engine is new and tight. I had the oil changed at 3,000 miles. The car now has 5,000 miles and is still noisy when I first start it up. If it is because the engine is tight how long before it breaks in and my brand new car will sound like one instead of a rattle trap. Any opinions out there?
Victa : Yes it is a PZEV model. Thanks for the tip.

A: Is your Forester by any chance a PZEV? The PZEV foresters are a little louder when it starts due to the engine forwarding the timing in order to heat the Catalytics up quicker.

hope this helps.

Q: I just bought a new Kia Optima and my Ipod Nano wont play in it always says its an empty usb?

A: Is it compatible with the Nano, or have you just assumed. Read the manual as see.

Q: my 2004 kia optima needs 2 new front tires, new front brakes and something called a ti-rod??
Is this common in a 3 yr old car (purchased brand new 03/2005). I have owned 5 cars in the past and have never heard of all this needing to be done. My honda had 150K miles on it-I only replaced the brakes twice in 9 yrs.
How much should I expect to pay for all of this?

A: It depends on the driver. The tie-rod and front brakes will
cost you approx. $350.00 at a dealership. You can probably
get it done cheaper somewhere else. The cost of the tires
depends on which ones you choose to buy. For your car,
probably under $100.00.

Q: How do you remove the dash of a 2004 KIA Optima to make way for a new in-dash stereo?

A: go to any store that carries stereo equipment [even walmart] and get a dash kit. it should have all you need to do the job. if you are not expierienced at doing this i suggest getting a friend to help that has donethisor consulting a profesional

Q: Kia Optima vs Honda Accord?
Is it better to buy a brand new Kia Optima 2009 model. Or get the Certified Used Honda Accord 2007 for 40k miles? or Certified Toyota Camy for 2006 .. assuming that all 3 above in similar price range.
Any pointers will be helpful. Thanks for reading.

A: There are always trade-offs for whatever you choose. The best thing to do is educate yourself as much as possible about your choices, do some research to find out what prices the cars are going for and if there are any common problems among them, and then take your fact sheets to the dealership with you. The best resource I have found to do all this is http://www.automedia.com/

Q: Do prople like the new 2006.5 KIA Optima?

A: my neighbor bought his wife one and she loves it and the gas mileage its getting,so far though they have had 0 trouble from it,those are good cars, and they hold up well, the majority of the people that have them like them, the ones you see complaining about them ,haven’t took good care of them, and like any other car made they do require maintenance work to be done occasionally, other than that they will last real good, hope this helps, good luck with it.

Q: Has anyone had experience with Kia’s warranty performance?
I am thinking of buying a new Kia Optima, and I see they have a good looking drive train warranty. Has anyone had problems with a Kia and then had the company stand behind the repair, or was it a nightmare? Looking for answers from folks that have had first hand experience with this, thanks!

A: Many Kia;s are made on US soil in US plants. A simple search will show you that

I have friends that drive KIA’s, they have had no problems with covered service.

Q: should i trade my 2006 kia optima?
in Oct of 2006 I bought a brand new Kia Optima. I now owe roughly 14k on it but its value is only about 12k. I know each year the value will continue to decrease more and more, which will leave me with a car that i owe more on than its worth. My husband says we should keep my car and pay it off, I say we should trade it in for a better make, such as toyota. Are kia optima’s even a good enough car to depend on for a long time?

A: To say a KIA is a bad car is foolish because they are not, they are not the most stylish car made nor are they the most comfortable, having said that they have a heck of a nice warranty. Toyota and Honda do not have a really good warranty (2008 Toyota 36,000 miles or three years, and Honda the same as Toyota. The KIA is 100,000 miles or ten years. If you have the trade bug there is only one way that you are going to get to come close to break even and that is for you to have the car detailed and then sell the car yourself. Remember for every little ding on it you will have to take money off of the selling and after all is said and done you are going to have to make up the difference.

I will make a suggestion to you, take the car to your local car was where they do the car for you and have them detail the car for you and wax the car as well. have them clean up the car on the inside shampoo the carpet. make it look as sweet as the day that you bought it and you might find that you really don’t want to get rid of it at all. If you go and buy a Toyota or a Honda you will feel the same about it in a few months. The other thing that you have to think about and that is the ever increasing cost of gasoline and if yur car is a four cylinder it gets pretty good gas milage and the toyota that you will think is the sweetest may not but if you are buying a new car because of the need of a four cylinder it still isn’t worth it your over all cost wouldbe to high and there is one more thing I want to share with you right now you can buy a car that gets over 40 miles to the gallon it is a car that will cost you after tax and deler prep and transportation about $27.000 depending on your credit will cost you up to about $600 a month even with 0% interest the cost would be about $450 a month only you are going to go from about 36 months to 60 months and the following year there will be many new cars coming out that will get really good mileage

Q: Pre-Owned 2006 or newer Kia Optima EX?
I’m looking for used car websites anywhere in the country what would be some good ones? I have already tried yahoo auto, vehix, autotrader, cars.com, carsforsale.com, ebay and I can’t find what I am looking for. I am looking for a 2006-2008 Kia Optima EX with leather seats, sunroof etc.

A: Kia vehicle reliability is getting better.

But do yourself a favor and check out the real value of a used Kia. Edmunds and Kelly Blue Book are great sources.

Kia vehicles have very poor resale value. That may be good for you if you can find a good used one.

Q: i just purchase my new car a 2006 kia optima do you think it was a smart car to choose from?it feels great!?

A: OOPS, you’re a little bit late on that question. Shoulda asked BEFORE the purchase.

Q: is kia vehicles foreign or american?
im working on getting a new kia optima.but when something goes wrong.is the kia parts here in the u.s. or in a foreign country?bc if its in a foreign country.its gonna cost me a lot.help me out guys.thanks.

A: Korean, and you can only get the parts from a KIA dealer… get a Chevy man, better quality and cheap parts too.

Q: Why wont my 2009 Kia Optima start?
I recently purchased a new 2009 Kia Optima SX because of the amazing rebates and Toyota trade- in I had. This morning on my way to work I stopped at a gas station and when getting back into my car, it wouldnt start. I dont mean like a dead battery, I mean I put the key in the ignition and turned it and literally nothing happened. No sound from the engine, warning lights or anything else that would have led me to believe that something was wrong. I got home tonight from work and was going to run an errand when the same thing happened. The keyless entry isnt working anymore and when I push the locks my self on the inside, nothing happens. Its like a total and complete electronic meltdown. The battery for the car isnt dead. The battery for the keyless entry isnt dead. Ideas?

A: sounds like faulty wiring, when you turn the ignition does it make any sound? if not its your ignition switch, and the dead electric stuff in it sounds like maybe a wire was rubbed/melted/ burnt in half

Q: Would you buy a KIA Optima?
I currently own a 2007 Cobalt LT 2.2 2 door 5 Speed Manual and put 26,000 miles on it in one year. I like the car and haven’t had any major problems, but because it was one of my first new cars my interest is fairly high on the loan and I’m annoyed with my rate. I am considering trading it for a 2008 KIA Optima 5 Speed which is the mid-size model KIA and because of shopping around and getting a better rate I could keep my payments the same as the Cobalt for the new KIA. I just want some opinions on which car you would prefer and why should I or not keep the Cobalt thanks for the help in advance! Eric

A: You should keep the Chevy and simply pay it off. MAke multiple payments each month.

Q: should i go for the ford focus or kia optima?
well see im looking to buy a new car and its between the kia optima and the ford focus. can someone give me the pros and cons of these cars please? and what price would you agree on with a car salesman on both vehicles, thanks any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

A: Ford Focus because only new Kia’s are any good. Optimas are shite in every single way. You would be better off with a Focus because they are better to drive, better equipped, better quality and better value for money over all.

Q: What do you think I can do to my 2007 Kia Optima?
I want to do something new to my car but I dont know what. Its a 2007Kia Optima. Its all in perfect condition and nothing needs to be replaced, so basically its brand new. Anybody have any ideas?

A: you drive a kia optima? wow.. quit life..but seriously i bet its grey or something so you should get your sucker boyfriend to get you a window tint and then you should make him over pay for some pink stickers at the la fair..thats just my opinion

Q: speedometer and odometer stopped working for kia optima 2004?
Kia Optima 2004 speedometer and odometer do not work and engine check light is on just recently changed out to a new battery. But speedometer and odometer stopped working before battery was replaced

A: speed control sensor may be kaput. need a mechanic with a Scanner to check for signal input.

Q: I want to buy a brand new Nissan Murano. What are some tips for talking them down on the purchase price?
I only want to pay $400/ month, that includes me putting a nice chunk down.

A: very simply ask them for the best price when he tells you walk away and watch them run after you every salesman worth his life hates to see a deal go out of the door

Q: What’s the fuel economy of the new Nissan Murano?
i am thinking of going into business doing lighting displays, decorations and sound effects. i figured a crossover would do fine to carry the sound equipment and stuff. especially if i’m gonna be doing photography on the side. i also want a fuel effiecient one. i like the Murano, but with a 3.5 what’s the fuel economy?

A: 18mpg city and 23mpg highway.

All of them come with 3.5L engines.

Q: How much litres of gas does the new Nissan Murano spends on 100 km?

A: 11.8/8.7 L/100 k so they say that means CITY 11.8liter/100km HIGHWAY 8.7liter/100km. You can usually increase that by 25% or decrease it by 35% depending on your driving habits.

Q: What do you like better the OLD or NEW Nissan Murano?
I like the old one HEAPPPPSSSS better!

(You better say something good!)

A: The choice is yours but what really matters is if you can afford it….(no offense)

Having a new Murano means high insurance cost because its new. An old murano won’t be much. Plus you’ll have high taxes and some other hidden dealer fees.

Reliability is another concern for the old murano, if purchased from an individual then take it to mechanic and have it inspected first.

New one’s better old one’s not bad either if old one is under 2006 and has more than 70K than reliability will be a problem there.

Good luck keep it safe!!!

Q: Is it possible to increase mileage on new car-2006 Nissan Murano only gets 17-18 mpg-highway?
In city, it’s only getting as low as 7mpg up to 12 (it has a monitor that gives averages), and highway, it’s gone up to 19. The sales stats say it should avg 25mpg. It’s a new car, so may be limited as to what I can do that would not violate manufacture’s standards. My old 94 Nissan Maxima at 171k miles was still getting 23-25 mpg; most on highway roads.
Wow! Fantastic (and humorous!) answers-GREAT information! I gave thumbs up to those I found very informative-but to choose among so many excellent answers is impossible. Please forgive me for asking the community to vote on this one.

Thank you all again! I learned alot from your answers! This is what Y!A is all about!

A: You should probably check oil, tires, etc. But keep in mind that the stats at the dealership are somewhat fudged. They are usually a couple miles off from actual conditions. The mpg at the dealership is given for the best possible conditions. Your car may get less mpg since it is wintertime.

Q: Need to know where i can buy a brand new 2009 nissan murano, but it must be right hand drive. ?
I dont want it for use in the us, im shipping it to the caribbean ,where we use right hand vehicle, I really need your help ,cause these us dealers are driving me crazy, say its imposible for them to get a RHD vehicle .

A: It’s true. We don’t have right hand drive in the usa. You can buy a nissan products with right hand in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonessia, and singapore, but It won’t be called the “Murano”.

Q: Should I buy a new Nissan Murano or a one year-old Volvo XC70?

A: Murano. Its wider, there is more room (all around), more power and it looks better (the styling is a lot nicer)

Q: Any idea how to get my hands on a set of new or used 2009 Nissan Murano 20″ rims?
I am buying the SL version of the vehicle and you can only get the 18″ rims with it (here in Canada). To order them from the Nissan dealership would be very costly.

A: check with your local junkyard for wrecked and totaled cars.

also try rim and tire shops they take trade ins for ppl that are getting tricked out

Q: Deciding on a new SUV– Nissan Murano, Honda CRV, or Jeep?
I’ve never been a SUV person but I feel like I need a little more space in my car (compared to my little ‘01 Honda Civic). I’m looking at the Nissan Murano, Honda CRV, and Jeep Cherokee (my husband likes the Jeeps). I’d appreciate any advice–pros, cons, opinions! Thank you!

A: Well, i saw a list on Forbes.com and it lists the Jeep Grand Cherokee as the most dirtiest vehicle (link below) and the fuel mileage is kinda poor, so i wouldnt really recommend it

I’ve been in the older generation murano (the model before the current one) and its pretty roomy. Its also a bit more powerful than the CR-V, which is also a nice car if you dont need the murano luxury. I think both the Nissan and Honda are much more reliable and fuel efficient than the Jeep.

Q: Anyboody got info on the new Nissan Murano(2008 model)?

A: Just made ready a 2008 Armada. expect we’ll see the 2008 Murano’s some time this fall. Japan made cars get here about August.

Q: 2004 Nissan Murano. New engine needed.?
I was just wondering if somebody could shed some light as to how this happened. I have a 2004 Nissan Murano- well-maintenanced I would say. Started hearing an odd engine noise. Sounded like a rod bearing was going out. Took it to have it looked at- shop said it “sounded like” the timing chain was “going out.” Called around to get pricing and determined that the cheapest place was the dealership (I know- I couldn’t believe it either). Took it to dealership. They tore it open and drained the oil pan. There are large chunks of copper in my oil pan, and it has caused internal damage to my engine. Something or other about a rod bearing going out, blah blah. How does this happen?? My car only has 61,000 miles on it?

A: You car just went out of factory power train warranty which expired at 60K but the adviser at the dealership can get the job good willed by calling customer care at nissan and get it covered under warranty. If they do not want to do it you can call your self. Also that motor the 3.5l is having problems with the timing chain guides which wear down to metal and i believe the warranty has been extended iw would advise to push to get it covered.

Q: What is the song playing in the background of the new 2009 Nissan Murano commerical?
It’s a cool song.

A: Home by Great Northern

http://www.splendad.com/ads/show/1927-Nissan-2009-Murano

Q: How much should a new catalytic converter cost (parts & labor) for a 2003 Nissan Murano?

A: Those converters contain precious metals, and are very expensive to replace. The labor shouldn’t be more than $100.

Q: i have a 2003 nissan murano and the radio is saying check disk even on brand new cds?
after the car went to the dealer for starting problems the radio keep saying check disk what could this be?

A: One of the problems is CD transport error (check Disk) May be a disk stuck in the player. SOme time disconnecting the battery for one minute and reconnecting it will reset Radio Errors. If Not Nissan Dealer Technician exchanges the audio unit with a remanufactured unit. Good Luck

Q: my dad bought a new car? 2004 Nissan Murano?
and my mom doesnt like it because it has a black interior trim. so now both of my parents are pissy and on top of that they wont talk 2 me. so im getting pissy. plus 2morrow we’re going to a picnic with like 10 families. so help please!!! ASAP
i also like the car. my dad asked me if this was the right car. cause this is going to b my high school car.

A: Your question should be that your father bought a “used car”.
A 2004 model is “not” by any means a new car since we are nearing 2009. Don’t intervene in parental affairs, they may not agree now but they will get over it, keep in mind that they have gotten though things that were a lot worst together and as one.
They may not agree now, but they will come to an understanding along the line and hopefully soon. As for your picnic, don’t worry. Parents as adults know how to act around other adults for the most part and don’t like to have “dirty laundry” out so all can see it.
If you do take sides you will lose in the end as when you parents do make up the one that you sided “against” will not forget that anytime soon. You may not like to see your parents as they are right now, but it will work out in the end and besides, a misunderstanding or two every now and then keeps a relationship healthy.
This may not be what you wanted to hear, but it is the best course of action. Treat your parents equal.

Learn more about new Dodge Charger at your automotive destination AutoFans.us

Q: can i fit 2 large suitcases and a set of golf clubs in a new Dodge Charger?
I will be traveling to Orlando and i want to take my clubs but im not sure if they will fit in the rental car. there will be 2 people in front and one rear passenger

A: the trunk is rather large….unsure of how big the suit cases are. best bet is to either bank on at least one case in the back seat or take the stuff to a dealer, explain the situation, and they will let you try to fit it in.
ps i like the chargers…good cars.

Q: Does the new dodge charger have both manual and automatic transmissions?

A: I am a Dodge dealer, the vehicle is not manufactured with a manual transmission. There is an auto-stick automatic that allows you to shift through the gears, but without a clutch. This transmission is actually manufactured by Mercedes Benz and is an excellent transmission

Q: Does anyone have a new Dodge Charger?
I would love one and would love to know what you think of yours if you own one. How is the gas mileage and the performance?

A: gas mileage is pretty good, bad if you use it right Performance is awsome. best i can say it is, “day go fas”

Q: Does any new Dodge Charger come with a hemi and supercharger ?

A: nope none of the current dodge chargers come with a supercharger, although you can get two different model hemis in them, either a 5.7 liter R/T or the SRT-8 model with a 6.1 liter hemi

Q: Is the new Dodge Charger a car that should get extra “looks” from women when they pull up next to you?

A: The new Charger is just another ‘cookie cutter’ model off of the assembly line and the styling does set it apart from a lot of cars these days…not very distinctive.
If they were to have stuck to the lines of the concept they did just a few years ago, they would have had a real looker. Now it seems it is just like have yet another ‘300′ coming off the line.

Daimler really messed up the Dodge line, and, of course, now Daimler is bailing out.

And it only goes to show that pigs drive pigs.

Q: how much does a new 2008 dodge charger bumper cost?
i got rear ended and i was wondering how much a new bumper would cost. or the total price of the fix.

A: look on this web site they will give you a price for the bumper, total job on that one could go well over 1500 bucks real easy, depends on how much other damage it has on it,good luck,,http://www.bumpers.com/productDodge.html,,,PS the insurance company will handle this one,so i wouldn’t worry about it,that’s what you pay insurance for.

Q: Anyone own a new dodge charger Rt?
I recently got a 2007 chatger R/T.Ive heard there are car clubs around where owners get together and cruise.Anyone know how I can contact them?

A: check out www.lxforums.com

these guys are really great and will help you in many ways…you will be amazed at all the good info you will find for your charger…

they also have a section where people talk about getting together for “meet and greets” and cruises…

Q: do a new dodge charger come in a 2door?
do a new dodge charger come in a 2door

A: Only if you buy one from a nascar team…

Q: Classic Dodge Charger or New Dodge Charger
Classic Dodge Charger or New Dodge Charger

A: I would take a classic charger, 68 or 69.

Q: How much does a new 2008 Dodge Charger SRT cost?
How much would a used one probably go for, also?

A: the MSRP is 37,995. for an srt8.

Q: If I’m going to put 25k/year on my new Dodge Charger, is the 6 year extended warranty worth it for $1900?
I realize I have the liftetime powertrain.

But, I drive 25k miles/year. My normal warranty will be up in around 18 months.

Is it worth 1900 dollars to but the 6 year, 100k extension for 1900 dollars? Or is it a waste of money?

I just can’t see getting 1900 dollars worth of damage to my car from mile 36,000 to 100,000.

Is it worth it or a waste?

A: It’s a Dodge!!! GET THE WARRANTY! YOU WILL NEED IT!!

Q: +~+ What do you think about the new Dodge Charger +~+?
I really want to hear from you about this car and its 3 or 4 types of it.

is it Good?
price?
power?

and anything useful

A: Its pretty good,fast,and is’nt that expensive.It goes around $22,295.
-250 HP 3.5L V8 Engine
-Electronic stability program
-4 wheel disc brakes with ABS & all-speed traction control
-power windows,locks,mirrors
-remote keyless illumanated entry
Hoped that helped

Q: does any body know if the new dodge charger will ever be released in Australia?

A: No, no plans to release it there right now.

Chrysler has been reluctant to make a RHD version as they see Australia as the only market for it.

The Australia managing director of Chrysler Group is pushing to get them there, though, so it might still happen.

Q: If I gave you a brand new Dodge Charger all tricked-out, $3,000, and 2 weeks off work; where would you go?

A: i would take my daughter and her boyfriend and Anthony my nephew to this wolf lodge and spend the week .

Q: Are there any officers that have used the new Dodge Charger Police Cruiser on the job.?
First tell me overall what you think about it. And then tell me how you think it compares to the Panthers(Crown Vic); tell me the pros and cons comparing the two.

My department is just now bringing them into the fleet, I’ve been assigned to one. Trying to get as much info on them as possible.
I keep hearing that the seats a little uncomfortable; is that true?

A: I liked the short amount of time I got to play with it. For one she looks so sweet! Second it was enjoyable to drive and the dash and all my controls were laid out very well. It also was an excellent car because it does not look like a cop car when people first look at it so they do not know I am there and monitoring them. And yes the seats are uncomfortable a might bit. I do not really like the P71 interceptor I feel it is too big some times and I just do not like the way ours are laid off. Although they are very reliable and Have the gonads to back it up. We use Impalas now. For a while we had dodge stratuses ya no joke. Now for My company I own I use Suburbans and Crown Vics. ……… Shadow Stalker
