Q: What is the difference between the 2010 Dodge Challenger SE, R/T, and SRT-8?
I’m looking to buy a Challenger. I know there is a price difference. What is the difference between the 2010 Dodge Challenger SE, 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T, and the 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT-8?
A: the trim package and the engine option it comes with ,starting with the se being the cheapest and has the smallest engine in it up to the most expensive which is the srt-8 hemi version, type it in and you,ll go strait to a page that explains all this, you got the best tool you can have in front of you, the computer,go to dodges web site and it will explain this in full details, many pages to read on that subject, good luck.
Q: How can I make my 2009 Dodge Challenger Se?
i currently own a 2009 Dodge Challenger Se and i want to make it faster, but i’m having a hard time finding parts for a v6 challenger. My goal is to make its quarter mile time 10 second or less.i couldn’t find a compatible supercharger and i don’t really want a turbo charge.
A: what your talking about is an EXTREMELY tall order. the V6 Challengers were primarily built to offer buyers more convenient fuel economy while still having a car that looks pretty cool. if i remember correctly, the stock horsepower on the V6 is only about 250. this is a decent level of power, but you need to realize that this car weighs about 2 tons. in order to for your car to run in the 10’s, you’d need to double your level of horsepower and probably completely gut the car.
to do this while still using natural aspiration, you’re talking about a complete engine rebuild which will cost thousands in fabrication(considering that very few aftermarket parts exist for this engine). i’m guessing your SE is the automatic, in which case you’re going to need to swap the tranny out for something with actual potential on the strip. further upgrades would have to be done to your ECU, cooling system, rear diff, and you’d need some racing slicks for the rear wheels to get anywhere near your target time. nitrous is also an option, but i wouldn’t recommend using it on the newer Mopar V6s because of they’re not built for that type of punishment.
truthfully, it would be much, much cheaper to just bolt on a turbo or swap in one of the V8s and add nitrous and slicks.
Q: Do girls like a jeep wrangler or a dodge challenger for a guy?
I was thinking about either getting a jeep wrangler unlimited or a dodge challenger… HELP ME OUT
A: They like the guy in the Jeep with a puppy sitting in the back.
Q: What cars look like a 1970 Dodge Challenger?
‘70 seems to cost too much.
Any other makes/models.
Does not have to be strictly dodge.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
NOT the new challenger
>.>
Just cars that look VERY similar to the challenger.:D
A: 1965 gto or a new challenger
Q: Does the 1970s Dodge Challenger have a rear bench or rear seats?
The only picture of the interior I could find was this:
http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/1970-dodge-challenger-t-a-4.jpg
And it didn’t make it all that clear.
Also, does it have seatbelts?
A: The ‘70-’74 Challengers had a bench seat in the rear and yes they did have seat belts and a shoulder harness in the front. The shoulder harness is not part of the seat belt in ‘70 and ‘71, it requires a seperate belt. The ‘70 and ‘71 models do not have rear seat belts. I am not familiar with the ‘72-’74 models other than to know they had rear bench seats.
Q: How much are my 1972 dodge challenger fenders worth?
A little rusty obviously, but i have 3 of them and they’re all definetely repairable.
I was thinkin 500 bucks a fender?
A: they won’t hardly bring 500 a piece right now,the most you could probably get for them would be around 200 bucks a piece and that’s only because they have the original part number on them, the rust kills the sale of any body parts, that why people buy different parts is to get away from having to repair rust,i sold a 72 Challenger fender on e-bay for 125 bucks that had minor rust on it,and the only reason i got the 125 was it was an original part,no after market, good luck with it,
Q: How much does it cost to lease a DODGE CHALLENGER in Southern California?
How much is the down payment? How much is it per month? How many months does the lease last for?
A: There is no one answer. The higher your downpayment, the lower your monthly payments. Leases can be for various time periods ( 12 months, 36 months, 48 months, etc. ). Also, a base Challenger with a V6 engine will be cheaper compared to a fully loaded SRT version ( which means lower monthly lease payments ).
Q: What’s the difference between a dodge charger and a dodge challenger?
They look kinda the same but is there actually any difference?
A: Challenger is a wider track, shorter wheelbase, 2 door 4 seat coupe (2 doors).
Charger is a 4 door, 4 seat, longer wheelbase, narrower track fullsize sedan. They look nothing alike. At all.
Only things that look remotely similar to either of them, is the Avenger to a charger. They have similar body lines, both 4 door cars, the difference is the Avenger is a midsize, Charger is fullsize, Avenger is front wheel drive and Charger is rear-wheel drive.
Oh, and as for the Charger/Challenger debate, Charger is only available in an auto, Challenger comes with a 6 speed manual or an auto.
Q: Is the 5.7 liter HEMI in the RT Dodge Charger , that will be in the RT version of the Dodge Challenger, GOOD ?
I am thinking of buying a new dodge challenger, The RT , with the 5. 7 liter HEMI. I am trying to figure if it will be a good car to keep for years to come.
A: The 5.7 is a great motor. Dodge pulled out all the stops when designing it. My dad has a Charger and a Ram both with the 5.7 and have had no problems with either. The 5.7 has heavy duty parts in it because of the extra power developed by the hemi pistons. So it was over built to suit the needs of the engine. So I would say go for it. However wait a few months. Their is no need to spend 3 grand over sticker when in 6 months the price will be 5 grand under sticker. They did the same thing with the Charger and 6 months after they went into production the dealerships were giving out deals to get rid of them.
Q: Will the Dodge Challenger come in other varieties?
Currently, the only one out now is the 6.1L HEMI SRT8. Just wondering if there will be other versions like the 5.7L HEMI R/T or the 3.5L SXT. Or is it just going to be the SRT8? Thanks for yall assistance on this.
A: Here si the 2009 model line-up that I know of
SRT8 – 6.1L V8, 5 speed auto
SRT8 – 6.1L V8, 6 speed manual
R/T – 5.7L V8, 5 speed auto
R/T – 5.7L V8, 6 speed manual
SXT – 3.5L V6, 5 speed auto
Q: Does anyone know where I can find a 1970’s dodge challenger for under $10,000 on the west coast?
I’ve been looking for dodge challenger for a really long time I don’t care what color I just want a 1970’s dodge challenger for under $10,000 on the west coast.
A: Go to hemmings.com. There are 55 of them currently listed nationally. A nice restored car will cost you far more than that but there are some original ununrestored cars in there for less than your price limit.
Q: How is the 2010 Chevy Camaro and the Dodge Challenger in snow?
Which would be a better choice to buy. I live in vermont and want to know if they handle alright in snowy conditions.
A: Although I prefer the Challenger over the Camaro, after reading all of the reviews for driving on snow and ice the Camaro shows both better handling and steering but the Challenger would be just as good provided that a set of winter tires were used…
Q: How can I get stripes on my 2010 Dodge Challenger SE?
This will be my first car and I was wondering if dealers can have the stripes installed or if there was an alternative. (I am aware of vinyl graphics)
What would be the approximate cost of getting them painted?
A: go with the vinyl ones unless you want them to be permanent, this way if you decide you don’t like them you can always remove them, they make kits for doing this also, painted ones look good but are pretty much a part of the car once you have them painted on,good luck.
Q: what is better the new chevy camaro or the dodge challenger?
i think the dodge challenger is better
A: The Dodge Challenger is much better than the slowmaro.
Q: how much does a 1970 dodge challenger cost?
The cheapest one if possible, in decent condition, don’t really care about the packages and engine that much. All im after right now is the tough look of the challenger
